My Fasmily also had a chev coupe exactly the Same! there were six built in NZ in 1932 .Ours was sold new by Black and Jacka in Stratford to a mr Wally Nash. When Wally died in 1965 the car had only done 7000 miles from new. Never driven in the rain or at night. The mechanics at Black and Jacka told us the only time the lights came on was every 6v months at warrant time. We had the car up unto 1972 whewn a low life convinced my dad to sell ,claiming that he was going to keep it forever. he had already done a deal with a guy in Australia to buy it and they were going to use it as a donor for a moonlight speedster(!!!!) Fortunately the 1932 Speedsters were built on 1930 chassis so nothing was the same. Today our car is with a guy in Sydney who offered it back to us at an insane price. I'm too old to bother now but I would love to see it again, never sell a family treasure!!
